Information: George Click, one of the prosperous and substantial farmers of Union district, died Saturday evening, September 27, after an illness of about two weeks. He had been in failing health for several months, but was able to go about his usual duties until within the last few days when he became suddenly worse. Mr. Click was born in Beaver county, Pennsylvania, December 10, 1847, emigrated to Jackson county in 1859, where he later married Christian Durst, of near Mt. Alto. He united with the United Brethren Church thirty-seven years ago and as such a member lived a consistent Christian life until his demise. The funeral services were held at the Mt. Hebron Church near his old home and interment took place in the cemetery near the church. The services were in charge of Rev. Knighty, of Cottageville, the funeral oration being delivered by Dr. B. E. Harrison of the same place.
