  <p>Information: Ronald Lee Clay of Kenna went to be with his Lord Friday, October 4, 2002, following an extended illness.  He was retired from Century Aluminum of Ravenswood with 35 years of service and was an Air Force veteran.  Surviving are his wife, Margaret Eleanor; daughter, Cynthia Sofhauser of Granger IN; son, Randall Clay and daughter, Maryann Clay of West Palm Beach FL; grandsons, Christian and Britton Sofhauser; brothers, Glen and Jimmy Clay of Charleston; sisters, Mescal Newman of Charleston, Judy White of Kenna, Janice Proctor of Charleston, Sandi Eggleston of Nashville TN, Lynn Earls of Detroit MI, Ann Nichols of Clay and Rose Mary Left of Dunbar.  He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Sybil Taylor Clay; brother, Arthur Clay; and sisters, Olive May and Sharon Clay.  Funeral services were held Monday, October 7, 2002, at the Plainview Missionary Baptist Church, Kenna, with Pastor David Spencer officiating.  Burial in the Plainview Cemetery.  He would have wanted all to know, ""For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.""  Philippians 1:21.</p>
