  <p>Information:           George Walton Ankrum, 75, of Cottageville departed this life May 11, 2005, in CAMC General Hospital following a sudden illness.  He was born April 2, 1930 in Sewickley, Penn., a son of the late John Forrester and Vennie Ding Ankrum.  He was a U.S. Army veteran and was retired from the Copperweld Steel Company, Niles, Ohio.  He enjoyed bowling and was an avid sports fan.  Surviving are a brother, John Ankrum of Columbus, Ohio; sister, Louise Hoge of West Alexander, Penn.; several nieces and nephews.  Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 14 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans with the Rev. Gerald Sayre officiating.  Burial will follow in the Blaine Memorial Cemetery, Cottageville.  Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.</p>
