Information: Mrs. Margaret Chase of Fairplain, age 75, died Thursday of last week.  Funeral services were held at the home Saturday, conducted by Rev. MCoy assisted by Rev. J. R. Withrow.  Burial in the Shinn cemetery. Mrs. Chase was preceded in death by her husband two years ago and one son, Charley Chase.  She is survived by one son, Denny Chase of Charleston and four daughters, Mrs. Ora Pfost and Mrs. Mae Shultz of Akron, Ohio,  Mrs. Homer Gandee of Fairplain, and Mrs. Laco Swisher of Ripley.   Margaret E. Chase, daughter of Aaron Pringle, was born April 5, 1860 and departed this life Feb. 15, 1934, age 73 years.  She was united in marriage with Samuel Chase, Sept. 17, 1886 and to his union were born six children, five of whom survive her, namely:  Mrs. Ora Pfost and Mrs. Mae Shultz of Akron, Ohio, D. S. Chase of Charleston, W. Va., Mrs. Dollie Gandee of Fairplain, W. Va. and Mrs. Irene Swisher of Ripley, W. Va.  Her husband and one son, Charley E. Chase, preceded her in death.  She was converted at an early age in life and joined the U. B. Church at Fairplain and lived a devoted Christian life to the end.  She was a loving companion and a devoted mother, always kind and gentle and loved by all who knew her.  She will be greatly missed by her family and her neighbors. But God's will be done, not ours.
