Information: Death Monday morning visited the home of Mr. William Chase, Route 2, and claimed therefrom the good wife and mother, Mrs. Levina Sayre Chase, last surviving child of Abel and Ruth Sayre.  Mrs. Sayre suffered for many months from a complication of diseases, her death coming not unexpected.  She was 70 years, 4 months and 21 days old, and a highly respected woman.  She is survived by her husband and five children, Wm. H. Jr., Estell, Ruie, Lula and Jnothan Chase Jr.  Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday morning by Rev. J. L. West.  Interment in the family cemetery below town.
