Information: Funeral services were conducted at the Vail Funeral chapel here yesterday (Tuesday) for Ferdinand Chase, 67, who died at his home near Ripley Sunday morning.  Rev. S. B. Cunningham was in charge and the burial was in the Chase family cemetery.  Mr. Chase was found in a dying condition when a sister went to call him for breakfast Sunday morning.  He lived only a few minutes.  Relatives said he had been afflicted with heart disease for some time.  Three sisters, Mrs. Florence Murrill of Washington, D. C., Vennie Chase and Eleanor Chase, both of Ripley; five nieces and four nephews are among the survivors.
