  <p>Information: William Elmer Chapman, 77, of Reedy, died Monday after a long illness. He was born July 31, 1888, a son of I. W. and Susan Sheets Chapman. He was a member of the Barton Chapel EUB Church. Survivors include his wife, Sara, of Reedy; a son, Ervin of Evans; two daughters, Catherine Moore of Beaver, Pa., and Madaline Scott, of Liverpool; three brothers, Brice Chapman of Pleasantville, Ohio, and John of Apple Grove, and James of Apple Grove; two sisters, Mahala Johnson of Huntington, and Carrie Backle of Pt. Pleasant, 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at the Parsons Funeral Home in Ripley with the Rev. Vairl Winter officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery.      	 </p>
