  <p>Information:           Word has been received here of the death of Betty Beymer Chapman, 66, Thursday, April 27, 1989, in a Fayetteville, N.C., hospital after an extended illness.  She was a native of Ripley and graduate of Ripley High School.  She was the daughter of the late Homer and Ada Beymer.  Survivors include five children; Joe of Philippi, Robert of Huntington; sisters, Bernice Harlow of Pocatalico, Helen Wendell of Williamstown.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Ferguson; second husband, former Ripley High School football coach Maurice Chapman; brother, Clair Finn Beymer; sister, Doris.  Gravesite services were held in Fayetteville, Saturday.</p>
