  <p>Information: Clarence Lucien Ankrum, 80, of Evans, died Saturday at Jackson General Hospital in Ripley following an extended illness.  He was born in Cottageville, a son of the late Clyde L. and Myrtle Stewart Ankrum.  He was a retired construction-heavy equipment operator and a member of the AFL-CIO and the Cottageville Lodge No. 45 AF & AM.  He attended the Evans United Methodist Church.  He is survived by his wife, Faye Oldham Ankrum; one son, Charles Wayne of Silverton; one daughter, Janice Hawkins of St. Louis, MO; one brother, Lloyd of Cleveland TN; two sisters, Bernice Painter of Ripley and Dorothy Weekly of Ravenswood and four grandsons.  Services were Tuesday at Casto Funeral Home, Evans.  Burial was in the Jackson County Memory Gardens in Cottageville.  Masonic graveside rites were given.</p>
