Information: Arlin F. Chancey, 55, of Vienna, died Thursday evening in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg.  He was born in Reedy, WV, a son of H. Guy Chancey of Ripley and the late Violet Staats Chancey.  He was retired from the U.S. Army, the Second Armored Division, 67th Medium Tank Battalion.  He was a member of the Wayside United Methodist Church.  He had taught school while in the Army in the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Aberdeen, Md., and was captain of the pistol team.  He also served in Germany in 1972.  He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.  He is also survived by his wife, Linda McGregor Chancey; one son, James Edward Chancey at home; two daughters, Clenna Spears of Anaheim, Calif., and Jette Chancey of Muldraught, Ky.; one stepdaughter, Melissa Ann Buskirk at home; two stepsons, Timothy Mark Buskirk and Jeffrey Michael Buskirk, both of Vienna; one brother, Edsel Chancey of Holly Springs, N.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Clement (Vi) Farley of Vienna and Mrs. David (Sandy) Riel of Parkersburg; four grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by one brother, William H. Chancey.  Services were Monday at Vaughan Funeral Home, Parkersburg with the Rev. D. Edward Bayer officiating.  Entombment was in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, Sunset Memory Gardens.
