Information: W. R. Casto, son of Joseph and Mariah Casto, was born September 6, 1856, departed this life January 30, 1923, age 66 years, 4 months and 24 days. He was united in marriage to Hannah M. Little, February 1, 1877, 46 years ago.  To this union were born 15 children, 4 of them having preceded him to the great beyond.  Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn their loss 4 brothers, 2 sisters and 11 children, viz:  Lucy Barnett, C. O. Casto, J. C. Casto, William Casto and Rosy Casto of Rockcastle; Anna Bowyer of Oak Hill; Dayton and Freer Casto of Huntington; Mary Sayre of Nat; Caroline Sayre of Evans; Dicie Cramer, Charleston, and a host of relatives and friends.      He was converted 28 years ago and lived a consistent christian until God seen fit to take him away, always holding up for God and right.  He had been a faithful Odd Fellow since 1891.  He will be greatly missed in his lodge as well as in the home and church.  He served his county as county commissioner for 4 years, besides many other minor offices.  Mr. Casto lived all his life on Thirteen Mile Creek within a mile of where he was born. He was a devoted husband, a kind and loving father, always ministering to his children and others in time of need.
