Information: William Owen Casto, 83, of Kenna, died Wednesday at Care Inn, Ripley, after a long illness.  He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late John L. and Lavinia Slaughter Casto.  He was a retired farmer, member of the Plainview Church, and a veteran of World War I.  He is survived by six sons, Basil of Romney, Paul and Edwin, of Kenna, Clifton and John of Gay, and Glenn of Poca;  three daughters, Mrs. Nada Williams of Statts Mill, Mrs. Neva Casto of Harmony, and Mrs. Reva Hayes of Massillon, Ohio; three brothers, Ernie and Loren, of Ripley and Hoyt of Kenna; four sisters, Mrs. Opal Litton of Gay, Mrs. Elsie Parsons of Ripley, Mrs. Ethel Staats of Wilding, and Mrs. Macil Parsons of Davis Creek; 36 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Fields Casto.  Services were conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Plainview Church, with the Rev. Denver Fields officiating.  Burial was in the Casto family cemetery.  Parsons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
