Information: Joseph Angus, 99-year-old Jackson County man, of Sandyville died at the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, after an extended illness. Born Aug. 24, 1870, the son of William and Margaret Hendershot Angus, he was a retired farmer and a member of the Drift Run United Methodist Church. Survivors include three sons, Homer, Ernest and Herbert Angus, all of Sandyville; five daughters, Mrs. Anna McCauley, Mrs. Lucille Maddox, and Mrs. Clarestine Wilkerson, all of Sandyville, Mrs. Ethel Weekley, Owosso, Mich., and Mrs. Edith Purdue, Belpre, Ohio; one brother, Harley Angus, Parkersburg; and one sister, Mrs. Minnie A. Thorn, Sandyville; 36 grandchildren, 78 great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildrden. Funeral services were conducted at the Drift Run United Methodist Church by the Rev. Garfield Prine. Burial was in the Drift Run Cemetery.
