  <p>Information: Starling Denny Casto, 89, of Ripley, died April 4, 1998, at Jackson General Hospital.  He was born in Jackson County.  He owned and operated Casto&#39;s Supermarket for over 30 years. He was a US Army World War II veteran and a member of American Legion and Ripley Baptist Temple.  Survivors include his wife, Thelma Casto; three daughters, Emm Catherine Hancock and her husband, Jim; Sue Ann Hartley and her husband, John, all of Parkersburg; and Lenora Stuphin and her husband, Jerry, of Huntington; and three granddaughters, Judy Young, of Scottsdale, Ariz., Debbie Wilson, of Parkersburg, and Sherry Wilson, of Springfield VA.  Services were Tuesday, Ripley Baptist Temple, the Rev. Mike Norris officiating.  Burial in Fairplain Cemetery.</p>
