Information: Dr. Phillip E. Casto, 74, of Sandyville has gone to be with the Lord.  He passed away July 15, 2014 at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens, Ohio.  Phil was born on March 20, 1940 at Charleston, a son of the late Dr. Wendell and Clara Elizabeth Jordan Casto.  He was a graduate of Ripley High School, West Virginia University and the West Virginia University School of Dentistry.  Dr. Casto was a practicing Dentist for over 45 years.  He was very active in Lay Mission Work with Aldersgate Renewal Ministry and led many mission trips.  He was an avid gardener and enjoyed being outdoors.  Phil was an accomplished woodworker and will always be known for his wonderful sense of humor.  He was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in Ripley.  He is survived by his wife of 34 years Kay Casto; a brother James Casto and his wife of Westerville, OH;, his children, Craig Casto and his wife Becky, Amy Tomer and her husband Brad of Houston, TX and Jeffery Casto and his wife Benita of Waynesboro, PA; and his grandchildren, Jacob and Lindsey Casto, Trevor, Tyler and Travis Tomer, Joseff, Isabel, Joshua, Eleisha, Tabitha, Joy and Jonathon Casto.  A celebration of the Life of Phil Casto will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, July 20, 2014 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Rev. Charles Hicks officiating.  Friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
