Information: Mary F. Hill Casto, daughter of George H. Barr and Sarah Burdette Barr, was born January, 19, 1875, and died at her home at Evans, West Virginia, October 17, 1946, aged 71 years, eight months and 28 days.  She was united in marriage to Nicholas H. Hill, October 1, 1894, and to this union were born five children:  C. A. Hill of Evans, W. Va, Arthur Hill of Sebring, Ohio, Mrs. Lucy Allen of Columbus, Ohio and Etta and James Hill, both of whom died in infancy. Her husband also preceded her in death on February 13, 1920.  On January 28, 1922, she was united in marriage to Vinton Casto of Evans, W. Va.  She is survived by her husband, three children, one stepdaughter, Miss Gail Casto, whom she reared from childhood, and the following brothers and sisters:  Julius of Parkersburg, W. Va., John of Londonderry, Ohio, Henry of Montgomery, W. Va., Milton of Thornville, Ohio, Albert of Racine, Ohio, Harvel of Elmwood, W. Va., Walter of Zanesville, Ohio, Alpha of Langsville, Ohio, William or Marion, Ohio, Mrs. Nancy Baker and Mrs. Pina Stone of Leon, W. Va.; also eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  She was converted 38 years ago and joined the Long Hollow Baptist Church.  Since that time, she has always lived a devoted Christian life.  ""Maw Hill"" as she was commonly known to both old and young, was a devoted mother, a good neighbpr, and a friend to all wo knew her.  She was never too busy to help anyone in need and her greatest desire was always to help others.  She will be sadly missed by her family, her friends and all the children of the neighborhood.  May her Christian life and kind deeds be remembered by us who yet remain and used by us in our everday lives.   Services were held Saturday at 2:00 p.m.in the Otterbein United Brethren Church with Rev. I. J. McCollum officiating.  Interment was made in the church cemetery.  The Vail Funeral Home was in charge.
