Information: Belgrove Farmer Taken by Death     John Riley Casto was born at Staats Mills, Jackson County, May 1, 1862, and departed this life at his home near Belgrove, October 30, 1946. He was 84 years, five months and 30 days old. He was a son of Edward and Sarah Raines Casto. On February 13, 1892 he was united in marriage with Miss Louisiana Good, and to this union were born eight children. Two children, Denver Allen and Mattie Odell, preceded him in death. Those living to mourn their loss are Mrs. Dessie Randolph of Ripley, Mrs. Ora Randolph of Kenna, Roscoe, Luster, and Raymond, all of Belgrove, and Mrs. Elva Gandee, of Ravenswood. He had 28 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He also has living one brother, Charles Casto, of Marietta, Ohio, and  one sister, Sarah Jane Price, of Gay. Three sisters and six brothers have preceded him in death. He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing away.     He was a kind and loving father and companion. He accepted Christ early in life and joined the United Brethren Church. Later in life he united with the Plainview Baptist church of which he remained a member until his death. He will be laid to rest in the family cemetery near Belgrove, to await the resurrection  morn.     A precious one from us has gone         A voice we loved is still.     A place is vacant in our home         That never can be filled.
