Information: A stroke proved fatal to John Edward Casto, 77 year old farmer of Fairplain, on Monday morning and the funeral service is being held from the home at 2 o'clock this (Wednesday) afternoon and the burial will be in the Casto Cemetery.  Mr. Casto suffered the stroke last week and his condition gradually became worse until the time of his death, members of the family said.  The Vail undertakers are in charge of the arrangements for the funeral and burial.  He was born at Staats Mills on January 27, 1874, a son of Lewis and Sarah Kinser Casto.  He is survived by his widow, Minerva Randolph Casto;  seven daughters, Mrs. Freddie Casto of Evans, Mrs. Viena Rhodes of Belgrove, Mrs. Sylvia Cobb of Charleston, Mrs. Elva Patterson of Gallipolis, Mrs. Erma Robey of Bidwell, Ohio, Mrs. Louraine Randolph of Fairplain and Mrs. Sarah Good of Ripley, a brother, Ike Casto of Belgrove; two sisters, Mrs. Louie Williams of Belgrove and Mrs. Almedia Casto of Charleston, 30 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
