  <p>Information: Funeral services for Mrs. Clarissa Casto, 85, were held from the Fairplain church Friday afternoon and burial was in the Shinn Cemetery.  Mrs. Casto died at the home of her son, Roy Casto of Ripley Rt. 2, Thursday morning.  She had been in failing health due to the infirmities of age for some time.  Mrs. Casto, a daughter of Samuel and Priscilla Simpson, was born April 14, 1863 and at the time of her death was 85 years, 8 months and 22 days of age.  Survivors include the following children, Roy Casto, Denny Casto and Harley Casto, all of Ripley Rt. 2, and E. E. Casto of Fairplain.  Two children, Corda Pearl Casto and Mrs. Hallie Davis, as well as the husband, preceded the mother in death.  (from the obituary collection of Betty Kessel McIntyre)</p>
