Information: Funeral services were held for Rex Anderson of Coolville, Ohio, Route 1, at the White Funeral Home Coolville.  Anderson died in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, after a brief illness.  The Rev. Roy Deeter officiated and burial was in the Torch Baptist Cemetery.  Born at Ravenswood, he was the son of the late Thomas and Melissa Ann Bennett Anderson.  An Army veteran of World War I, he had served in France.  He was engaged in farming most of his life and was a member of American Legion Post 21, Athens, and VFW Post 1212, Parkersburg.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Viola Anderson, one son and one brother.  Survivors include one son, William J. Anderson of Crystal Lake, Ill.; two stepchildren; four brothers, Jack Anderson, Fox Lake, Ill., Claude Anderson, East Liverpool, Ohio, Richard Anderson, Wingdale, N.Y., and Ralph Anderson of East Nort Port, N.Y.; three sisters, Mrs. Hazel Tompkins of Wauconda, Ill., Mrs. Mabel Reilly of La-Grangeville, N.Y., and Mrs. Genevieve Butler of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Mrs. Kren Downing of Cameron, Wisc., and William P. Anderson of Crystal Lake, Ill.
