Information: Charley Wallace Casto was born at Angerona, W. Va. October 27, 1900 and departed this life at Akron, Ohio, September 20, 1967 at the age of 66 years, 10 months and 27 days. He was the son of Joseph and Nancy Ellen Carter Casto whom with one sister, Edna Scarberry, preceded him in death. He was married to Elzina Sayre on July 30, 1936 at Pt. Pleasant, W. Va. He leaves to mourn: his wife, Zina; one step-son,Eugene Sayre and his wife Verneell; two granddaughters, Jaunet and Sally, all of Akron, Ohio; three sisters, Anise Hunt of Evans, W. Va., Elizabeth Loar and Lora Malitel of Columbus, Ohio; one brother, Virgle of Gallipolis Ohio. Charley was saved May 27, 1963 at the Pleasant View Free Will Baptist Church at Columbus, O. He was baptized September 1, 1963. Later he joined the Free Will Baptist Church in Akron, Ohio where Rev. Kenneth Freesbee is the pastor. The last 3 years he had been in bad health. But after he was saved, he lived daily with the Lord and attended many different churches singing and testifying for the Lord. His greatest desire was to see souls saved. Those who knew Charley loved him. We know we will miss him but he has just moved on over home to wait for us. One day we'll meet him again, but until then, we'll labor on.
