Information: C. Blair Carver, 70, of East Liverpool, died Sunday at East Liverpool City Hospital after a three-week illness.  He was born in Ravenswood, May 18, 1902, the son of Thomas Carver and Lavada Maple Carver.  He had lived in East Liverpool since 1944 and was a retired employee of Crucible Steel Co. of Midland, Pa.  He attended Calvary United Methodist Church and was a member of C.I.O. 1212.  Surviving:  wife, Eva Cross Carver, at home; one step-daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Casto of Evans; two sisters, Mrs. Gay Ohse of Chicago and Mrs. Effie Merriman of New Brighton, Pa.; two brothers, Clarence Carver of East Liverpool and H. B. (Ted) Carver of Port Charlotte, Fla.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Services were held Tuesday at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool.  Burial was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Sidneyville in Jackson County.
