  <p>Information: Fremont Wesley Carrier, 84, of Mount Alto, died Monday morning, Oct. 24, 1988, in Pleasant Valley Hospital, Point Pleasant, following a brief illness.  He was born in Lincoln County, a son of the late Solomon and Eugenia Higginbothom Carrier.  He was a retired carpenter, a member of Carpenter Union Local 1159, Point Pleasant, and the Hopewell Baptist Church, Mount Alto.  Surviving are his wife, Mamie Baldwin Carrier; three sons, William Carrier of St. Albans, Michael Carrier and Frank Mowrer, both of Sissonville; two daughters, Gladys Stone of Huntington and Phyllis Carrier of Mount Alto; a brother, William Carrier of Milton; a sister, Sylvia Wallace of Milton; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.  Services will be today (Wednesday) 1 p.m. in the Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Evans, with the Rev. James Poe officiating.  Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Letart.</p>
