  <p>Information: Mrs. Lydia E. Carpenter, 78, of Parkersburg, died Saturday at the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born in Jackson County, May 9, 1893, daughter of the late Leslie and Cora Parsons Allen.  She was a member of the Napier EUB Church.  She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Thurmond (Emily) Green, Rt. 1, Vincent, O., and Mrs. Herman (Cosbie) Walters of Parkersburg; one brother, Hoyt Allen of Wellsburg; four sisters, Mrs. Henry Greenleaf, Mrs. Kenneth Biram, and Mrs. Beulah Daugherty of Parkersburg, and Mrs. Al Koch of Cleveland, O., nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at the Kimes Funeral Home with the Rev. Herman Jordan officiating.  Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery.   </p>
