  <p>Information: Funeral services for William A. Carney, 76-year-old retired farmer of Given, were held from the Moss Chapel Methodist church on Thursday with Rev. L. L. Casto officiating and the burial with the Parsons funeral directors in charge, was in the church cemetery.  Mr. Carney died at his home on Tuesday.  Surviving are his wife, Olive; two sons, Charles of Fayette, Ind. and Clair of Given; two daughters, Mrs. Gratia French of Dunbar and Mrs. Alberta Hunter of Ripley; two brothers, Jess and George, both of Given; four sisters Mrs. Alice Wellings of Nitro, Mrs. Ethel Painter of Dunbar, Mrs. Emma Bonnett of Liberty and Mrs. Freddie Casto of Given; 12 grandchildren and nine-great grandchildren.</p>
