  <p>Information: Margaret L. Carney, 92, of Given, passed away January 1, 2012 at Jackson General Hospital following a short illness. She was born July 18, 1919 at Rockcastle, a daughter of the late Fremont and Maude Park Hunter.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Moss Chapel Church.  She is survived by a son, Gary Carney, and his wife, Jackie; daughters, Wilma Barnett and her husband, Bill, Charlotte Rausch and her husband, Larry, and Teresa Counts and her husband, Stanley; a brother, Carroll Hunter; grandchildren, Kristi Barnett Miller, Ken Barnett, Kamden Barnett, Monica Hogle, Joey Carney, Michele Brotherton and Brian Counts; 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arlie Carney; a grandson, Lewis Counts; and a great-grandson, Austin Miller; along with four brothers and four sisters.  Services were Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Waybright Funeral Home.  Pastor Dan Stepp officiated.  Burial was at Moss Chapel Cemetery, Given.</p>
