  <p>Information: Mamie Rector Carney, 92, formerly of Williamstown, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 1988, in the Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney, Ohio.  She was born in Sherman, a daughter of the late Webster and Alvia Rector.  Her home had been in Williamstown before moving to Sidney 20 years ago. She had operated a beauty shop in Williamstown and was a member of the Williamstown United Methodist Church.  She is survived by one daughter, Gertrude Stockwell of Tallahassee, Fla.; one grandson, Dr. James Stockwell of Tallahassee, Fla.; and four great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William Harvey Carney, in 1979.  Services were Saturday at Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with burial in Ravenswood Cemetery.</p>
