Information: Word has been received here of the death of Flora H. Carney at Eventide Nursing Home, Detroit, Mich., April 22.  She was the daughter of Alexander C. and Mary Carney, born at Given on January 4, 1896.  Survivors include a brother, Allen Thurman of Leon; one sister, Fanny Carney of Detroit; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services were held at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, Dearborn Chapel, Michigan, with burial in Cadillac Memorial Gardens, West, Michigan. The Rev. Leonard F. Wegel officiated.
