  <p>Information: Fanny Zee Carney, born at Given, West Virginia, Dec. 6, 1901, died suddenly May 30, at her apartment in The Towers, 12850 Woodward Ave., Highland Park, Michigan, from a heart attack.  She was the daughter of Alexander C. and Mary Winter Carney of Given.  She is survived by one brother, Allen Thurman of Leon; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.  She was a graduate of Berea College, Ky., Ferris Institute and Kalamazoo State in Michigan and was employed in Michigan until her retirement.  Services were held at the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, Dearborn, and burial was in Cadillac Memorial Gardens, West.</p>
