  <p>Information: Mrs. Amanda Olive Carney, 85, of Given, Route 1, died Saturday in River Side Nursing Home, St. Albans, following a long illness.  She was born in Putnam County, daughter of the late Louis and Abigail Young Willings.  She was a member of Moss Chapel Methodist Church in Putnam County.  She is survived by two sons, Charles of Lafayette, Ind., and Clair of Given; two daughters, Mrs. Gratia French of Dunbar, and Mrs. Alberta Hunter of Ripley; one brother, Christopher Willings of Charleston; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.  Her husband, Wiliam Carney preceded her in death in 1959.  Funeral services were held Monday at Moss Chapel Methodist Church.  The Rev. Holley Hoover officiated and burial was in the church cemetery under direction of the Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley.</p>
