Information: Nancy Sue Young Anderson, 63, of Charleston, formerly of Parkersburg, passed away on July 31, 2012, at Cleveland Clinic following a brief illness.  She was born in Belgrove on May 3, 1949, and was the daughter of the late Dewey Thomas Young and Sylvia Glady Parsons Young.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed writing poetry, stories, loved music and movies.  She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Anderson, Terri Anderson-Casto (Danny), and Traci Anderson, all of Parkersburg; three grandsons, Will Thornton of Hurricane, and Johnathan and Blake Casto of Parkersburg; sisters, Gale Rhodes (Samuel, deceased) of Ripley, Arlene Boggess (Cecil, deceased) of Ripley, and Betty Sydenstricker of Charleston; brothers, George Young (Brenda) of Ripley, Dewey T. Young (Zaida) of Laurel MD, and James Young (Debra) of Ripley; her former spouse, John Anderson of Parkersburg; and several nieces and nephews.  Nancy was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Hays (Gene, deceased); brothers, Donald (Emma, deceased), Russell (Charlotte, deceased), and Jennings Young; an infant brother, Anthony; and a great-nephew, Aaron Crawford.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.  At her request, Nancy was cremated.  There will be a celebration of her life from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, September 2, 2012, at the Ripley Senior Center.
