  <p>Information: Ralph ""Ferg"" Carmichael, 82, of Sandyville, died Tuesday at the CAMC Memorial Division, Charleston.  He was born in Sandyville, son of the late Milton and Sarah Belle Ferguson Carmichael.  He was a member of the Sandyville Church of Christ and retired from Columbia Gas.  He is survived by his wife, Ada Stanley Carmichael; three stepsons, Ottis Stanley of Ravenswood, Donald Stanley of Springfield, Va., and Vernon Stanley of Parkersburg; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by five brothers and six sisters.  Services were Friday at the Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with evangelist Denver Haught officiating.  Burial was in Independence Cemetery.</p>
