  <p>Information: Freda McVay Carmichael, 56, of Route 2, Ravenswood, died Friday morning, May 22, 1987 at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley after suffering a heart attack.  She was born in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Nellie Flesher McVay Sr.  She was a Protestant and attended the Flatwood United Methodist Church.  She was owner and operator of the Dairy Bee of Ravenswood.  Surviving:  husband, Edward ""Pete"" Carmichael; three sons, Rondell Lee and Donald Lee, both of Buford, Ga., and James Edward of Ravenswood; three brothers, Lloyd McVay of Evans, James and Ray McVay both of Ripley.  Services were Sunday at the Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood with the Rev. Armor Sayre officiating.  Burial was in Ravenswood Cemetery.</p>
