  <p>Information: Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Independence Church at Sandyville with the Rev. Emmett Adkins officiating, for Albert Jenkins Carmichael, 81, of Sandyville, Rt. 3, who died Thursday in St Joseph&#39;s Hospital following an extended illness.  A son of the late William and Lydia Ferguson Carmichael, he was a retired employee of the B & O Railroad.  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Grace Carmichael; six sons, Robert Carmichael of Ravenswood, Rt. 2; Dale Carmichael of Sandyville, Rt. 3; Ralph Carmichael of Murraysville; Fred Carmichael of Mansfield, Ohio; Glenn Carmichael of Ravenna, Ohio and Joe Carmichael of Parkersburg; four daughters, Mrs. Pearl Kessinger and Mrs. Delma Wilcox both of Parkersburg; Mrs. Maxine Emerick of New England and Mrs. Margaret Dooley of Big Springs; one brother, Clint Carmichael of Canton, Ohio, 52 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.  Burial was in the Independence Cemetery under direction of the Vail Funeral Home at Ripley.</p>
