Information: RAILROAD DETECTIVE TAKEN AT PARKERSBURG HOSPITAL/ FUNERAL HELD - Funeral services for Clifford Canter, a Baltimore & Ohio policeman, were held from the Hopewll church in Mt. Alto last Friday afternoon with Rev. J. C. Swain in charge and burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Canter died in the St. Joseph's hospital at Parkersburg on Wednesday evening of heart disease. He was a son of the late Henry and Mary Graham Canter and had been in Pittsburgh for a number of years. The body was brought to the home of his sister, Mrs. Hope Conard, at Letart Wednesday where it remained in state until the services Friday afternoon. The deceased is survived by the widow, Alice Robinson Canter; his mother, Mrs. Henry Canter; two sisters, Mrs. Conard and another sister who lives in Boston and two brothers, Ray, Kirkland, Illinois and Oral Canter who lives in Ohio.
