  <p>Information: James M. Campbell of Clarksburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 5 at Charleston Memorial Hospital following a short illness.  A former resident of Ripley, he was a 1942 graduate of Ripley High School where he was active in sports.  He was born March 20, 1925, the son of John and Jean Hunter Campbell.  He was an employee of Interstate Engineering and Construction Company of Fairmont.  He was a World War II veteran.  Surviving are his wife, Avonell Campbell, Huntington; son, James Frederick, Charleston; daughter, Jean Ann Shannon, Bradenton, Fla.; four brothers, John and Joe both of Parkersburg, Jewell, Pt. Pleasant, Jack, Cincinnati, Ohio; one sister, Mary Helen Donovan, Ft. Wayne, Ind.  Services will be held Thursday at the Vail Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with the Rev. J. W. Burch officiating.  Burial will be in Independence Cemetery. </p>
