Information: RIPLEY - Clarence Harold Campbell, 85, of Ripley, departed this life Oct. 24, 2001, at his home.  He was born Sept. 28, 1916, in Evans, a son of the late Julius Harold Campbell and Mammies Bell Miller.  He was a retired logger and farmer.  He was a former employee of Douglas Gun Factory and Gravely Tractor, Dunbar.  He was a member of the Evans Church of God.  Surviving are his wife, Sybil S. Sayre Campbell; son, Julius Ranson Campbell of Westville, Ind.; daughter, Judy Marie Hart of Rutland, Ohio; stepsons, the Rev. James Phillips of Charleston, William B. Hill, Jr. of Poca, Maxell Hill of Ripley; stepdaughter, Rhonda Click of Leon; brother, Melvin Donohew of Evans; sister, Marie Miller of Evans; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.  He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Lottie Thornton Campbell; son, Camden H. Campbell; brother, Golden Campbell.  Service will be Saturday, Oct. 27, 2001, at 1 p.m. at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with the Rev. Harless Cook and the Rev. Benjamin Riggleman officiating.  Burial will follow in the Creston Cemetery, Evans.  Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
