  <p>Information: ELEANOR - Jasper Vernon ""Jack"" Cain, 82, of 217 Roosevelt Ave., Eleanor, Putnam County, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 1994, at home after a short illness.  He was retired from American Viscose, Nitro, with 33 years of service.  He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of VFW Eleanor Post 4400.  He attended Red House United Brethren Independent Church.  Surviving:  wife, Ada Whittington Cain; son, Paul of Buffalo; daughters, Barbara Muck of Poca, Wynema Lockhart and Janet Skeens of Grundy VA; stepsons, James Trador of Buffalo, Jackie Trador of Galloway, Ohio; stepdaughter, JoAnn Higginbotham of Columbus, Ohio; sister, Lillie Jividen of Liberty; brothers, Dencil of Red House, Arthur of Eleanor; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren.  Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Red House United Brethren Independant Church with Pastor Joe Hutchinson and Pastor Larry Covert officiating.  Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Eleanor.  Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Raynes Funeral Home, Buffalo, and one hour prior to service at the church.  The family suggests memorial contributions to Kanawha Hospice Care Inc., 1143 Dunbar Ave.,Dunbar, W. VA. 25064.</p>
