Information: ELEANOR - Jasper Vernon ""Jack"" Cain, 82, of 217 Roosevelt Ave., Eleanor, Putnam County, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 1994, at home after a short illness. He was retired from American Viscose, Nitro, with 33 years of service. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of VFW Eleanor Post 4400. He attended Red House United Brethren Independent Church. Surviving: wife, Ada Whittington Cain; son, Paul of Buffalo; daughters, Barbara Muck of Poca, Wynema Lockhart and Janet Skeens of Grundy VA; stepsons, James Trador of Buffalo, Jackie Trador of Galloway, Ohio; stepdaughter, JoAnn Higginbotham of Columbus, Ohio; sister, Lillie Jividen of Liberty; brothers, Dencil of Red House, Arthur of Eleanor; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Red House United Brethren Independant Church with Pastor Joe Hutchinson and Pastor Larry Covert officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Eleanor. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Raynes Funeral Home, Buffalo, and one hour prior to service at the church.
