Information: Services were held Saturday for Okey S. Burnside, 79, of Middlesboro, Ky., who died Jan. 6 following a long illness.  Services were held at the Franklin and Son Funeral Chapel, Parkersburg, and burial was in the Sunset Memory Gardens, Parkersburg.  He was born in Roane county and lived at Evans, W. Va. before moving to Kentucky where he owned and operated a construction firm for the past 32 years.  He was a member of the First Christian Church in Kentucky, and was a veteran of World War II.  Surviving are his wife, Florence Burnside; three sons, Max Burnside of Parkersburg, William Burnside of Orlando, Fla., and Melvin Burnside of Middlesboro; three daughters, Anna Gent of Parkersburg, Mary Hale of Anderson, Tenn., and Ellen Shafer of East Brunswick, N. J.; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; a brother, Harl Burnside of Clay; three sisters, Alva McGlothlin and Gladys Moore of Clay and Etta Lions of Ravenswood.
