  <p>Information: Sammie O. Burgess, 61, of Huntington Beach, Calif., formerly of Ripley died Aug. 4, 1990 in Fountain Valley Hospital, Huntington Beach after a long illness.  He was a construction worker and an Army veteran of the Korean War.  Surviving:  son, Kevin of Huntington; daughters, Mary Sue Burgess of Huntington, Davida Burgess of Huntington Beach; brothers, Glenn of Ripley, Howard, Raymond and Cecil all of Ravenswood; Charles of Export, Pa.; sisters, Margaret Hundley of Dunlow, W. Va.; Lorraine Milhoan of Leroy; Josephine Smith of Doylestown, Ohio, Doris Moore of Cincinnati.  Service will be 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley.  Burial will be in Independence Cemetery, Sandyville.</p>
