  <p>Information: Howard William Burford, 56, of Ravenswood, died April 15 at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, after a short illness. He was born in Kanawha County and was a Protestant.  He was retired from Kaiser Aluminum and was a former employee of the Goodrich Gulf Corp., Institute.  He was a veteran of World War II.  Surviving: wife, Betty Jo Jenkins Burford; daughters, Shirley Carter and Debra Hooser, both of Ravenswood; brothers, Kenneth of Hurricane, Jack of Scott Depot, Larry and Jerry, both of Miami, Fla.; sister, Betty Lewis of Tennessee; nine grandchildren.  Service was April 18 at Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with the Rev. Herman Robinson officiating.  Burial was in Ravenswood Cemetery.</p>
