  <p>Information:      Harriett Ann Curry Burford, 72, of Charleston, passed away October 25, 2014 after a long battle with multiple sclerosis.  She was born April 27, 1942, the oldest daughter of the late Marple and Wilma Curry.  Harriett was a 1960 graduate of Ripley High School and was a Worthy Advisor of the Order of the Rainbow and Grand Cross of Color.  She was employed by C&P Telephone Co., and was a co-owner, broker and residential real estate appraiser with Burford Appraisal.  She attended Wesley United Methodist Church.  Harriett is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ben H. Burford; daughters, Rhonda (Doug) Moffitt, Joni (Tony) Mazelon; and Jill (Glenn) Savage;  grandchildren; Brian (Paige) and Michael Moffitt and Anthony, Alex and Christopher Mazelon; sisters; Donna Casto, Joan Curry and Patty Hayes; and brother, Rick Curry.  Special heartfelt thanks to her caregivers, Kay Scraggs and Tammy Cogar, who took excellent care of Harriett.  Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, at Bartlett-Burdette-Cox Funeral Home, officiated by Richard Hunt.  Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.  Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.   </p>
