Information:               RIPLEY - Willis L. Burdette, Jr., 78, of 122 North St., Ripley, died April 20, 1992, in Ravenswood Care Center after a long illness.  He was president of Guyan Machinery Co., Logan, with 50 years' service.  He was president of Logan Rotary Club, a past member of Logan City Council and served on the Salvation Army and Boy Scout boards. He was a 50-year member of Masonic Lodge 99.  He was a member of Fleming Hunt Club, Virginia Golf Association and a 60-year member of First Baptist Church, Logan.  He was a member of Ripley Rotary Club and Epworth United Methodist Church.  He was a graduate of University of Alabama , member of Delta Tau Delta and was a World Ward II veteran.  Surviving:  wife, Katherine Kessel Burdette; daughters, Ann Justice of Huntington, Sarah White of Wildflecklin, Germany, Nancy Dalesio of Ripley, Mary Louise Kelly of Fairfax, Va.; sister, Virginia Whited of Charleston; seven grandchildren.  Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Epworth United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Charles Echols officiating.  Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley.  The family suggests donations to Rotary Foundation Exchange Program, Alzheimers Association, 919 North Michigan, Suite 1000, Chicago 60611, or First Baptist Church, 423 Main St., Logan 25601.
