  <p>Information: Wanda Geraldine Burdette, 76, of Cottageville, departed this life September 11, 2002, at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis OH, following an extended illness.  She was born June 17, 1926, in Sissonville, a daughter of the late Payton B. and Rebecca Pearl Deittimore Jordan.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed league bowling.  Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Romie D. Burdette; son, Tommy Burdette of Mt. Alto; daughters, Carolyn Hyps of Charleston, Beverly Watterson of Point Pleasant, Rebecca Hackney of Pocahontas VA, and Sue Click of Mt. Alto; sister, Charlotte Pierce of Sissonville; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.  Graveside service was held on Saturday, September 14, at the Jackson Chapel Cemetery, Mt. Alto.  Arrangements by Casto Funeral Home, Evans WV.</p>
