Information: Otis Burdette, 49 year old Romance dairy man, met instant death Saturday morning when the truck he was driving skidded from the Right Hand Fork road near the Fry-Carney bridge and plunged down an embankment.  Forrest Berry, 25, of Mission Hollow, a passenger in the truck, was uninjured.  Berry told state police, who investigated the accident, that they were driving at a rate of speed between 20 and 25 miles an hour.  Funeral services for the victim were conducted at 10 o'clock Monday morning at the Goff church with the Rev. Roy Young officiating.  Burial was made in the family cemetery.  Besides his wife, Mrs. Biddie Burdette, he is survived by four sons, Harold, Lelfred, Hansel, and Foster Burdette, all of Romance; three daughters, Imogene, and Blanche Burdette, and Mrs. Shelby Hinzman, and an adopted child, Wendell Reynolds Burdette, all of Romance.
