  <p>Information: LEROY - Laura H. Burdette, 88, of Leroy, WV, died March 4, 1998 at the Jackson General Hospital, Ripley.  She was born September 2, 1909 in Roane County, WV, a daughter of the late Frank and Daisy Knopp Hickman.  She was a homemaker and a Protestant.  She is survived by one brother, Orville Hickman of Gay, WV; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James Alvie Burdette in 1979; one sister, Lemah Hart; and two brothers, Paul and Charles Hickman.  Service was Friday, March 6, 1998 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, WV, with Rev. Orland Reynolds officiating.  Burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Evans.</p>
