  <p>Information: Cora Virginia Burdette, 46, of Cottageville WV, died Sunday, September 8, 2002, at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, following a sudden illness.  Born September 23, 1955, at Eagle WV, she was a daughter of Arthur and Geneive Burgess Adkins of Fayetteville.  She was a housekeeper at the Ravenswood Village Nursing Home.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Gracie Carter and mother-in-law, Norma Burdette.  Survivors include her husband, Russell Glen Burdette of Cottageville; parents, Arthur and Geneive Burgess Adkins of Fayetteville; daughter, Jennifer Adkins of Cottageville; niece, Gina Slaughter of Fayetteville; nephew, John Adkins of Mt. Hope; and father-in-law, Lester Burdette of Cottageville.  Graveside services were held on Friday, September 13, 2002, at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville, with Rev. Rick Keener officiating. Burial followed there immediately after the service.  Arrangements by Wallace & Wallace of Rainelle.</p>
