Information: Helen Williadene Bonnett Bullard, 87, of Kenna, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2012. Born on November 10, 1924, in Jackson County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Jennings Vaughn and Verta Oakley Fisher Bonnett. Helen was a retired assistant postmaster for the US Postal Service with many years of service. She was known for her great sense of humor and zest for life and enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and quilting. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her brother, Quentin Bonnett. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Elmer; daughter, Kathy Martin and her husband, Danny, of Kenna; daughter, Karen Jack and her husband, David, of Kenna; grand-daughter, Kellie Niewierowski and her husband, Chris, of St. Albans; grandson, Bronson Martin and his fiancee Lauren McNally, of Charlotte, N.C.; great-grandchildren Eden and Carter Niewierowski; brother, Kenneth ""Tom"" Bonnett of Liberty; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will take place 1 p.m. Sunday, October 21, at Waybright Funeral Home in Ripley, WV. A private burial will follow at Emma Chapel Cemetery. Special thanks to caregivers Dallas Skeen, Diana Haynes, Jackson Co. Home Health, Eldercare of Ripley and our many neighbors. One of Helen's passions was raising donations to maintain the Emma Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Emma Chapel Cemetery Fund, Route 1, Box 296, Liberty, W.Va. 25124.
