Information: SERVICES AT RIPLEY SUNDAY - Services were held on Sunday from the Vail funeral home for Mrs. Dorothy Buckalew, 77, of Kenna, who died at her home on Friday after a long illness. The services were officiated by the Rev. Shirley Hammack and the Rev. Clarence Eaton. Burial was at the Sayre cemetery at Goldtown. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. L. and Minerva Smith Sayre and the wife of the late F. M. Buckalew. Mrs. Buckalew was a member of the Fisher Memorial Church. Surviving are four sons, Robert, Marshall, Harry and Jackie of Charleston; one daughter, Mrs. Inez Bailey of Kenna; one brother, Earl Sayre of Elmwood; three half-brothers, Clifford Sayre of Kenna, Willie of Charleston, and Carl of Sanford, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Riffle of Buffalo and Mrs. Lyda Moore of Niles, Mich.; four half-sisters, Mrs. Jane Hesson, Cairo, Ohio, Mrs. Cynthia Stonestreet of Charleston, Mrs. Louise Milam of Kenna, and Mrs. Louisa Bailey of Pocatalico; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
