  <p>Information: LEXINGTON, KY - Earnest Lorain Buck, 77, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2005, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY.  He was born in Roane County on February 1, 1928.  He was a graduate of Ripley High School and a 1952 graduate of Marshall University.  Mr. Buck served in the U.S. Army (1st Calvary Division) and was stationed in Tokyo, Japan.  He was married to Betty Frazier Buck for 57 years.  He was also retired from Nabisco, Inc. after 38 years of service as a sales respresentative, a former presidentof Recreation Enterprises (Rippling Waters) and operated a local taxi service and a small trucking business.  Mr. Buck served on the Ripley City Council, the Sanitation Board and the Jackson County Housing Authority.  He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church; former member of the Ripley Volunteer Fire Department; former member of the Ripley Jaycees (president); member of the Mason Ripley Lodge #16; Shriner; Scottish Rite and York Rite.  He is survived by his children, Jill and Keith Rake of Ripley, Jolea and Danny Martin of Ripley, and Brent and Tonya Buck of Georgetown KY; grandchildren, Hamilton and Grant Rake of Ripley, Chelsea and Jordan Martin of Ripley and Madison, Alexis and Ty Buck of Georgetown.  A memorial service will be held at Epworth United Methodist Church on Tuesday, March 17, 2005 at 6 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Epworth United Methodist Building Fund.</p>
